Eggless Wholewheat Jaggery Chocolate Cake

An easy and healthy Wholewheat Chocolate Cake with Jaggery. No Sugar No Eggs No Butter
  • 140 gms Whole Wheat Flour
  • 120 gms Roughly Chopped Jaggery
  • 30 gms Cocoa Powder
  • 1.5 tsp Baking Soda
  • 2 tsp Instant Coffee Powder (1tsp will also work)
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • 30 ml Oil
  • 2 tbsp Vinegar
  • 150 ml Water (plus extra 100ml)
  1. Preheat the oven for 15 min at 180 degree Celsius.
  2. Sift the dry ingredients and keep aside.
  3. Boil jaggery in 150ml water. Keep boiling till it dissolves completely. Let it cool.
  4. Mix the wet ingredients and add the jaggery boiled water.
  5. Add the extra 100ml water.
  6. Combine the wet and dry ingredients. Do not overmix at all.
  7. Line a 6 inch cake pan and bake for 45-50 min at 170 degree Celsius.
